Hi there! I’m Tanya, owner of Precious Paws Dog Grooming & Boutique.

I’m assuming that if you clicked on my picture, that you are interested in finding out more about me! I’ll start by saying that I enjoy the company of animals and nature over most humans. They are both known to open your heart and calm you.

I have had my hands in the grooming industry since I was in high school and have never worked at a job that doesn’t involve animals. From working for a Boxer breeder for 10 years to grooming salons, and a veterinary hospital for a brief period of time, I have loved all of my jobs, but grooming is my passion! I’ve officially been grooming 21 years and still counting. And yes, it certainly does take a very special person to be a groomer. It’s not an easy job, but I still love waking up every day and going to work!

I have two very handsome young men that call me Mom. They never stop growing. They also never stop making me proud! I have 4 animals that let me share the house with them. They also let me pay the bills. (So nice of them, I know! Lol) And a husband that supports the heck outta everything I do!

I believe that time is precious, and you should waste it wisely…. Like reading a good book, sipping some red wine, trying new dishes in the kitchen, going camping or taking a walk down a dirt road.

I am forever grateful for the amazing clients I have had over the years. Without you all, my dream wouldn’t be my reality. I am very proud to call Mount Forest home to Precious Paws and look forward to seeing you all at the store.
